Stormwater Control
Containing urban and rural runoff is a growing concern for local governments as they work to protect watersheds from erosion, sedimentation, and pollution. This field stands as one of F.L. Showalter’s foremost strengths. Over the years, we have developed broad capabilities with storm drains, retention ponds/basins, drainage swales, street inlets, area drains, and other methods for regulating the flow of stormwater from streets, parking lots, and commercial or agricultural properties.
Urban Water Treatment
Whether the facility handles water filtration or wastewater treatment, Showalter is ready to assist with construction or upgrade projects. For municipal water systems, our qualifications extend all along the miles of pipe needed to bring water from its source to the treatment/filtration facility—and reaches on through the water’s flow to reservoirs, pumping stations, and finally all throughout the neighborhoods served. (At the street level, we’re also proficient with hydrant systems.)
