Emergency Dam Stabilization & Support

Work Included
  • Stabilizing the existing dam structure under concern of imminent danger of major storm surge breach
  • Clearing and relieving emergency spillway structure
  • Freeing existing sluice gate assembly of accumulated storm debris
  • Creating heavy equipment roadways for access and maintenance
  • Assisting above-ground and underwater engineering consultants and governing agencies
  • Replacing existing street-width asphalt roadway
  • Designing and fabricating custom debris guards for existing overflow piping structures
  • Stabilizing existing bridge structure
  • Stabilizing existing heavily eroded dam faces with new vegetation and concrete-reinforced soil and oversized stone aggregate
  • Replacing existing stormwater management structures and piping to relieve storm surge
  • Other associated work necessary to render the dam stable and public thoroughfares operational
